Final copy...

of your comparison essay is due tomorrow. We will be working on it in class today. Also, you will get a list of terms on tone. Record in your dictionary those terms you do not know.

We will begin thinking about college essays as well. Some of class time today will be devoted to that and you will need to have the essay finished by Friday.

For tomorrow's class...

We will discuss the Whitman and Dickinson poems, as well as Williams's "Red Wheelbarrow" and the student essay.

Poetry!!

Tonight's assignment is on pages 720-722. Read the two poems and answer questions 1-6.
